Flatcoats are my passion, the love of my life, and the dog who started all of this is my very own special love Charley, (Bank Bilbo Over Bochilbarley). Charley was a very special dog, he taught me so much about this wonderful & loving breed.

Moontorn Flatcoated Retrievers
Moontorn was started by my youngest Daughter Abby.
I've had a passion for Flatcoats all my life but one of our boys was my absolute Best Friend, Dopey Bochilbarley Snowstorm I had such a special bond with him from when he was just a baby. Due to unfortunate circumstances with his new home Dopey came back and joined our Family again. We lost Dopey when he was just 6 it was such a tragic day or everyone I was just 11 when I lost my Best Friend. April 2013 came when our 7th litter was born and I decided I was ready for a puppy of my own. Mum kept a dog and a bitch puppy and allowed me to have my first bitch puppy who would be in my name and properly start my Flatcoat journey. Bochilbarley Izzy's Moon was my baby girl who I decided to call Jessey. When Jessey was around 3 I decided I would like to have a litter from her and knew I would need a Kennel Name I combined "Storm" from snowstorm and "Moon" from Izzy's Moon and came up with Moontorn.
As Jessey was nearing her 4th Birthday I had to decide a Dad for my Pups due to wanting to have Dopey in my puppy I decided to use his nephew Bochilbarley Night Spirit.
My first litter of 8 with 6 bitches and 2 dogs had arrived early May and I couldn't of been more proud of, knowing I wanted to keep a bitch I knew it would be a tough decision but I know now I made the right one.
